Deputy Chief Steven Trask was sworn in on March 3, 2006, he was also appointed Emergency Management Director for the Town of Framingham on the same day. Trask is a 19 year veteran of the Framingham Police Department having served in a variety of roles within the department including Patrolman, Dare Office, Juvenile Officer, Sergeant, Police Prosecutor, Lieutenant, Shift Commander, and most recently serving as the Commander of the Traffic and Safety Division. Trask has B.S. in Criminal Justice form Westfield State College and an M.A. in Public Administration from Framingham State College. Trask is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Police Leadership Institute, the Senior Management Institute for Police; and the Emergency Management Institute Incident Command Training at the National Fire Academy in Emittsburg, Maryland.
