You MUST REPORT TO THE POLICE STATION IF YOU'VE WITNESSED OR BEEN INVOLVED IN;

Any type of violent crime, including: personal assault, kidnapping, robbery, etc.

Any type of sex crime, including: rape, sexual assault, etc.

Any type of stolen vehicle, including: trucks, cars, trailers, motorcycles, etc. Any type of motor vehicle license plate.

Any type of traffic accident, whether there was an injury or not. To report violent crimes or sex crimes, please call 508-872-1212.

To report:
Missing persons, stolen vehicles or stolen license plates, you must come into the station.

Traffic accidents involving an injury, please call 508-872-1212.

To report traffic accidents NOT involving an injury, please do one of the following:
If an officer has responded to your non-injury accident and has said that we cannot take your report because it doesn't meet minimum reporting requirements, you must report your accident to:
1. Massachusetts RMV
2. Police Department where it occurred
3. Your Insurance Company


If an officer has never responded to your non-injury accident, you need to come to our station for assistance in what to do next to report your accident.

If you need a faster response than that, you can come to the police station located on
1 William Welch Way and file a report at the Public Counter.
